Advanced Trainings
Additional Year(s)
A number of new concepts have been added to the PTPP work since the development of the core curriculum training. There is now an option for those who have trained in the core curriculum to attand further training. Year Four has already taken place in Europe as an optional addition and year Five is under development.
Continuing Education & Professional Development
Since 2007, the IIVR has instigated a requirement for practitioners to renew their accreditation with the IIVR, by taking an Advanced workshop once every 2 years.
This process has begun with the Re-Certification of Trainers in October 2008, when they completed an advanced training workshop with Dr. Gallegos. The trainers who attended this advanced training will shortly begin to offer workshops for practitioners to fullfill their continuing Ed requirements for the IIVR.
Workshop Leader Training
Workshop leader Training is regarded as an advanced training as it is only open to those who have completed the 3 year Core Curriculum training. It consists of 2 weeks of training, spread up to 18 months apart, which allows participants to explore fully their strengths and limits as Workshop Leaders.
