Location:
Le Revel is in in southern France, 30120 Rogues, in the Cevennes mountains.
The nearest airports are: Nîmes and Montpellier (2 driving hours).
Marseille and Toulouse are the larger towns in the area (5 driving hours).
Getting to Le Revel
If you arrive by public transport a pick-up service can be arranged preferably from Le Vigan or from Ganges (see pdf). Please indicate so when you register.

Festival Times:
The festival begins with evening meal at 18.00 (6pm) September 21
It ends with a lunch at noon, September 25.
You need to arrive at Le Revel by 18.00 (6pm) on Tuesday , September 21.
Early arrival
It is possible to arrive early from Saturday September 18, on. There is an extra charge of €35 per day for accommodation (no food).
Camping costs €15 per day extra.
It is possible to have Breakfast and evening meals at Le Revel during those days. The cost is €15.
There are a few houses available that have self catering (kitchen). Please indicate when you book your early arrival, if you would like this. Availability is limited.
You can pay for the extra meals and accommodation on your arrival.
Food
Food at Le Revel is vegetarian only during the festival.
Allergies are catered for so be sure to mention them when booking.
Local wines and cheeses are provided at meals.

Attractions:
The house at Le Revel dates from the 12C. The area has beautiful scenery and places of historical interest so it is worth coming early.
A few hours away are traces of humankind dating back to the paleolitic. In the village next to Rogues, a cave was discovered in summer 2009 with evidence from the neolithic age. You will find cromlechs, menhirs and dolmens around you, most of them preserved due to scarce agriculture. For the same reason, rare animals and plants have survived. The Revel is 7 km from the so-called „Circus of Navacelles“, also known as the Great Canyon of Europe.
Bursary Contribution:
The base fee for the festival is calculated to be as reasonable as possible for participants. However, as the fee only covers costs, we request that anyone who can contribute a little extra to a bursary fund for the Festival do so. This will enable us to offer a discount to those who need it. Please tick the contribution box on the registration form if you wish to contribute.
